Cardinals Fan till the Day I Die

As you all should know I'm a HUGE Cardinals fan. Was born and raised a Cardinal fan. For those of you who don't know I was at the 2006 World Series Game where they actually won the Series!

It was something I will never forget. I went with my dad. Gary was there as well. I remember them telling me that they went to a World Series game together before.

That game Adam Wainwright pitched phenomenal. Wainwright was out all last year due to surgery but he finally came back this year. He has started off a little rough but FINALLY last night he seemed like himself again.

I'm currently dating a Cubs fan, ya I know. But hey every couple has differences right. In April I went to a Cubs vs. Cards game with my aunt, mom, and Max. Of course the Cardinals won! I just wanted to share some pictures and funny things my friends have sent me about the Cardinals.

Birthday

 

Friday was my Birthday and I got to spend it at one of my favorite places....my lake house of course!
My day started off with just a few hours of work and then receiving these beautiful flowers.
I got to spend the weekend with my dad, best friends, and wonderful boyfriend.
We shot the minnow....yes we literally did what I just said. It's a once in life time experience that you can say you did. And I'm still alive so it must not have been too bad. Thanks to everyone who made my Birthday so great! I got so many birthday wishes from friends and family members from all over. I'm truly thankful and had a really great weekend!

Pinterest, Pintrest, and More Pinterest

Like every other woman on Pinterest I have boards and boards and boards with 100's of different things posted on them that I like.

Well thanks for Pinterest and Martha Miller's genes I am a natural when it comes to crafts, and for that I have actually "tackled" a few of those DIY's I've been pinning.

It all started when I was looking for some decorations for my room which is pretty bland since I can't paint it. I remembered seeing this on pinterest with a tutorial on how to make it….

And decided to put my own spin on it. I bought of 2 pack of canvas's for $8 at hobby lobby. I couldn't find the thin chip board letters that are shown in this picture. So I ended up buy the cardboard box letter. Which I ended up liking a lot better. It added a lot more effect. With a lot of patience and a relaxing afternoon this is how mine turned out.....

A Smooth Sea Never made a Skillful Sailor

As of 2 days ago I have been graduated from college for a year. All I can say is Wow has my life changed. I'm moved out of my parent's house and have become completely independent. It's a nice but frightening feeling.

I have a great job, wonderful family, and amazing friends who have been there and supported me through everything and for that I am thankful.

Now that I've graduated and work an 8 hour job 5 days a week I'm realizing just how much free time I have. I don't have to study for tests, do homework, or go to meetings. I don't miss that at all.

But with this free time I've really gotten back into writing and crafting. I used to write in college for the newspaper and realized just how much I liked it and how much I miss it.

And for that I have started a blog.
